Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Browsing: the site works without accounts. Your chosen “My city” is stored only in your browser (localStorage). Our host (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request logs to serve and protect the site.
• Photo submissions: the photo, type, city/state, date, credit name, email and optional description. We strip GPS location and other EXIF metadata from images before storage. Your email is never published.
• Abuse prevention: Cloudflare Turnstile and short-lived IP-based rate limits on uploads.
• Email alerts (if you sign up later): email address, chosen city and alert types; every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Ads & affiliates (if enabled): Google AdSense and Amazon may use cookies.
• Launch videos: nothing loads from YouTube or a video site until you tap a video; when you do, it loads from YouTube or the publisher’s site and their privacy policy applies.

How we use it

To run the site, review and publish approved photos with your credit, contact you about your submission or a takedown, send alerts you requested, and prevent abuse. We don't sell personal information.

Retention

Rejected submissions and their emails are deleted within 30 days; approved submissions are kept until you ask for removal. Logs per Cloudflare defaults.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data. Uploads require confirming you are 13+.

Your choices

Ask for access, correction or deletion at skypeekapp@gmail.com. If you live in California or another state with privacy laws, you can ask us what data we hold about you or ask us to delete it by emailing skypeekapp@gmail.com.
