Terms of Use

Last updated: October 22, 2026. These terms govern your use of Skypeek (https://skypeek.pages.dev), operated by Skypeek (“we”).

1. Estimates only

Launch, ISS, aurora, meteor, eclipse and planet information is computed from third-party data and simplified models. It may be wrong, late or incomplete. Do not rely on it for safety, travel or financial decisions. Never look at the Sun without proper eye protection.

2. Photo submissions

  • You may submit only photos you took yourself and have the right to share. You must be 13 or older.
  • You keep your copyright. By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable-on-request license to host, display, resize/crop and share your photo on the site and our social channels, with your credit name.
  • You can ask us to remove your photo at any time at skypeekapp@gmail.com; we'll remove it from the site within 30 days (copies already shared on social platforms may persist).
  • All submissions are reviewed; we may decline or remove any submission for any reason.

3. Content rules

  • Sky-related photos only. No people identifiable without their consent, no nudity, violence, hate, harassment, spam, ads or watermarks promoting other businesses.
  • No AI-generated or heavily composited images presented as real sightings (label composites).
  • No photos taken illegally (e.g. trespassing on restricted launch areas).

4. Copyright & takedown (DMCA)

If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent with: your contact details; identification of the work; the URL of the material; a statement of good-faith belief that use is unauthorized; a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you're authorized to act; and your physical or electronic signature.

We remove material promptly upon a valid notice, notify the uploader, and accept counter-notices as provided by 17 U.S.C. § 512. Repeat infringers' submissions will be blocked.

5. Affiliate links & ads

Some links may be affiliate links and pages may show ads; we may earn a commission at no cost to you.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. These terms are governed by California law.
